In the heart of Randleman is a tribute to the city’s favorite son.

The Richard Petty Museum is filled with memorabilia that depicts the racing career of the legendary NASCAR Winston Cup champion. There are several cars, trophies and awards that honor the seven-time series champ. One of the cars on exhibit is the one Petty drove during the 200th and final win of his Cup career.

There is also a Goody’s Mini-Theater on site that shows The History of NASCAR several times daily. Admission to the museum is $5 for adults, $3 students and free for kids under 6.
